Poser 6 was released in 2005 and Curious Labs was acquired by e-frontier. This release came with no major improvements except for the inclusion of four new characters, but leaving out the Poser 5 characters. However it was received as an excellent launch due to the big commercial failure of Poser 5 that came full of bugs.

Also Talk Designer for lip-sync animation and Multithreaded rendering was introduced. Only 3ds Max, Maya and CINEMA4D integration trough PoserFusion plug-ins are a remarkable feature.
